91 an hour 8 days ago 8 days ago 8 days ago This entry level position is responsible for learning and performing duties associated with the production of biological vaccines in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Under close supervision, this position conducts day to day activities of the manufacturing operations as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate's Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field of study preferred with High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
0-2 years' relevant experience required in lieu of college degree.
Any experience in a USDA licensed facility is preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated ability to learn and follow site, equipment, and personnel trafficking policies.
Ability to read, understand, and execute instructions in production processes and procedures and accordance with regulatory agency requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively with all team members.
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks with supervision.
Ability to perform simple math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Must be able to use MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiarity with aseptic technique and general laboratory equipment.
Conscious of safety and quality regulations and use of PPE requirements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Follow daily directions of Unit Leader or Production Supervisor and assigned operator.
Must take the time to learn various batch records, ask questions as appropriate to learn their significance and importance, and follow record requirements.
Performs manufacturing operations using large-scale processing equipment to process and then fill sterile vaccine.
Processing equipment includes, but not limited to, centrifuges, tangential flow filtration systems, fermentors, clean-in-place and steam-in-place systems, autoclaves, and sterilizers.
Report any deviations immediately to assigned operator and Unit Leader or Production Supervisor.
Supports routine operations for cleaning and replacement of glassware, solutions preparation, autoclaving and general lab organization.
Supports routine monitoring, maintenance and cleaning of equipment, laboratories, and other rooms.
Records data promptly per company policy.
Assists in monitoring lab equipment.
Conducts work in accordance with appropriate company policies and regulatory agencies.
Conducts work in accordance with company safety requirements.
Supports manufacturing and packaging/shipping efforts as needed.
Assists in maintaining accurate inventories of raw materials, in process materials and finished goods.
Assists in surveying facility to ensure that all areas are in excellent working conditions (organized/clean, safety, lights working, etc.
).
Other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
