Responsibilities:
Armorer (Armory) JOB PURPOSE:
To maintain, inspect, clean, repair and rebuild weapons and storage.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Inspect, clean, repair and rebuild weapons.
Preform Calibrations, zeros, and all user maintenance of company owned weapons.
Ensure all weapons are in safe operating condition.
Conduct ammunition inventory and lead maintenance teams in your area.
May require refinish of wooden stocks for rifles and shotguns.
May require restoration of antique weapons.
Manage, maintain and clean the Armory containers themselves.
Ensure they are clean and free from any debris and ready for walk-throughs or tours at any time.
Maintain and update yourself on safety issues, education, and knowledge for all weapons and ammunitions.
Complete all paperwork and maintain all logs with precision and accuracy at all times.
Always wear the safety gear required (IE.
Eye protection, gloves, and ear protection) Remove all hazards from work site.
Keep a clean and orderly work area.
Armory process must be build into ISO-9001 process to maintain positive document control.
Coordinate classes scheduled with weapon requirements to ensure all weapons are in Armory, serviced, oiled, cleaned and tested for accuracy.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications / Skills:
Organizational skills Dexterity and coordination Weapons skills and deep knowledge Customer service skills Troubleshooting skills Must be able to manage time efficiently.
EDUCATION AND WORK
Experience:
High School Diploma.
Diploma in Gunsmithing.
Experience of 3-5 years.
Must possess a valid NC driver's license.
