Job Description:
Raven Medical is seeking amputee medical role players that are needed to participate in realistic, real-world medical training scenarios for our clients.
The candidate must be either a single or double amputee, who is willing to portray various traumatic injury patterns as directed by the instructor.
Proper accommodations will be provided.
Qualifications:
Must be an amputee.
Must be local or willing to travel to the Fayetteville/Laurinburg/Maxton, NC area.
Must be able to follow directions, act out role as directed, and communicate effectively.
Ability to work under stressful conditions.
Must be comfortable with personnel performing treatments based on the medical scenario requirements (e.
g.
, intravenous (IV) access, patient movement, etc.
).
Ability to sit, stand, lay in positions for a significant amount of time.
Ability to work around pyrotechnics, simulated small arms fire, and artificial blood.
